Shipping Policy
If you have placed an order with Hunter & Nomad, thank you for supporting our small business. To help reduce textile overproduction and minimise our environmental footprint, many of our rugs are made to order and shipped directly from our trusted production partners.
Made to Order Rugs
Many Hunter & Nomad rugs are made to order. Once your order is placed, your rug will go into production with our manufacturing partner.
Estimated production time: 10–14 business days
Once production is complete, your rug will be shipped directly to your delivery address.
Shipping times will vary depending on your location. Tracking details will be provided once your order has been dispatched.
While we work closely with our production partners to meet these timeframes, occasional delays may occur during peak production or shipping periods.
Shipping Australia
We offer free shipping on all Australian orders.
Orders will be delivered via our trusted courier partners and tracking details will be provided once your order has been shipped.
Shipping International
International shipping is available. For most overseas locations, shipping costs will be automatically calculated at checkout.
If shipping costs are not displayed for your location, please contact us at hello@hunterandnomad.com.au for a shipping quote before placing your order.
International customers are responsible for any import duties, taxes or customs fees required by their country.
Hunter & Nomad is required to declare the full value of shipments for customs purposes.
30 Day Returns
We want you to feel confident when purchasing from Hunter + Nomad.
If you are not completely happy with your order, you may request a return within 30 days of delivery.
To be eligible for a return:
• The item must be unused
• The item must be in its original condition
• The item should be returned in its original packaging where possible
Returns must be sent to our Australian returns address (Brisbane, QLD).
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty or incorrect.
Once the item has been received and inspected, a refund will be issued to the original payment method.

Shipping Delays or Missing Packages
If you have received a tracking number but your parcel appears delayed, or has been marked as delivered but you have not received it, we recommend the following steps:

Contact the courier directly using the tracking number provided, as they can quickly verify delivery details.

Check with neighbours or nearby locations in case the parcel has been delivered to a neighbouring property.

If you are unable to locate your parcel, please contact our support team and we will assist where possible.
Incorrect Delivery Addresses
If the courier is unable to deliver your parcel due to an incorrect delivery address provided at checkout, or if the parcel is returned to us as undeliverable, additional postage charges may apply to resend the order.
If this occurs, we will contact you to discuss the next steps.
Christmas Deliveries
During the weeks leading up to Christmas, courier networks experience increased shipping volumes which may result in delays.
We recommend placing orders well in advance during the holiday season to avoid disappointment, as delivery timeframes may be longer than usual.
This policy should be read in conjunction with our Terms and Conditions and applies to all purchases made through our website.
